      • 戦時下の沼津市内浦における水中音響研究
        海軍技術研究所音響研究部の遺産
      • 筆者は,本稿において,既存文献を整理し,史料を発掘し,現地調査を行うことにより,以下の史実を,整理した. 1.太平洋戦争中に,沼津市沖の江浦・内浦湾において,旧日本海軍(海軍技術研究所音響研究部)が実施した,水中音響兵器の研究及び関連する水中音響学の研究・実験(この史実は,深海性という特徴を持つ駿河湾が,その特徴ゆえに,水中音響学の研究フィールドとしてふさわしい海域であり,その研究を基礎に技術の開発に資するという事実を,示している.)2.1.の研究における産業界(特に沖電気工業株式会社)と,学者(特に東北帝国大学の實吉純一教授),海軍の担当者の取り組み3.1の研究における旧海軍関係者・関係組織の,戦後への承継.4.1.の研究を基礎とした,沖電気工業株式会社の沼津市内浦湾の取り組みと,その有人潜水調査船「しんかい6500」に至る成果(その過程における戦時中から戦後に至る人的な連鎖)5.戦時下に得られたデータの保存に関するマルクス経済学者平野義太郎の提言と,1.の実験におけるプロジェクト・マネージャーたる海軍大佐佃定雄との行動

      • The underwater acoustic research at off-Uchiura, Numazu City, during World War II.
        The heritage of the Acoustic Research division, Naval Technical Institute, Imperial Japanese Navy

      • In this paper, the author had revealed the following historical facts by reviewing and cross-checking existing literatures, discovering historical materials, field surveys. 1st. Development on underwater acoustic weapons and related underwater acoustics research and experiments conducted by the Imperial Japanese Navy (Acoustic Research Department, Naval Technical Institute) in Enoura and Uchiura Bay, off the coast of Numazu City during the Pacific War. It has been shown that the characteristic Suruga Bay is a sea area suitable as a research field for underwater acoustics because of its characteristics, and contributes to the development of technology based on that research. 2nd. The Efforts of the navy, industry and academia joint research, especially efforts by technical personnel belongs to Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. And Professor Junichi Saneyoshi of Imperial University of Tohoku. 3rd.The human relations between ex-Imperial Japanese Navy and Electric Industries had been keeping even the postwar period. Then, the underwater acoustics research at Uchiura Bay had been resumed by Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. 4th. The Research of Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd., at Uchiura Bay in Numazu City had led to the manned submersible research vehicle "Shinkai 6500" of JAMSTEC. 5th. Marxian economist, Dr. Yoshitaro Hirano's proposal for the preservation of data obtained during the wartime, and the appropriate measures by Admiral Sadao Tsukuda, the project manager in the joint research.
      • 大阪府のアサリ漁獲と潮干狩り場運営の変遷
        統計書とインタビューからみえる実態
      • 通常,潮干狩り場は近海で貝毒が検出されると,食の安全のため自主閉鎖する.ところが,大阪府の潮干狩り場は,検査済みの無毒のアサリに交換することで,閉鎖せずに運営を続けている.本稿は,統計資料等の文献調査と関係者インタビューにより,大阪府のアサリ漁獲の変動と,貝毒発生時でも潮干狩り場の開場継続を可能にした背景を長期的視座から検討した.その結果,以下3点を明らかにすることができた.大阪府は明治末期にアサリの禁漁期を設定したり,戦後すぐに稚貝を放流したりと,アサリの資源保護に素早く対応してきた.大阪府のアサリ漁獲量は全国より30年早い1950年代後半に激減し,潮干狩り場も早い段階でアサリを外部調達する必要に迫られた.長年にわたる地域全体のアサリの資源保護に関する取り組みや,開発に伴い失ったアサリの生息に好適な自然海岸に代わり,人工海岸や近隣の浜で新たに潮干狩り場を開設した運営主体の取り組みが,無毒で安全な貝との交換という独自の運営方法の素地となった.今後は,潮干狩り場運営主体,行政,来場者の3者を対象とし,貝毒の発生や潮干狩り場における食の安全対策に対する意識等を明らかにすることが必要である.

      • Transition of commercial catch of Ruditapes philippinarum and operation of clamming parks in Osaka
        State discovered through statistics and interviews

      • At clamming parks in Osaka prefecture, operators do not take self-imposed closure even when shellfish toxin is detected in clams taken at adjacent areas, which is extraordinary. This paper examined trends of commercial catch of clams, i.e., Ruditapes philippinarum in Osaka prefecture and backgrounds of continuous opening of the clamming parks under shellfish toxin detected by investigating statistics over a century and interviewing major stakeholders. Key findings are: i) Osaka Prefectural Government had been a pioneer in protecting clams as evidenced by having introduced close season in 1911 and started releasing juvenile in late 1940’s, ii) Commercial clam catch in Osaka prefecture underwent rapid decrease in late 1950’s, 30-year precedent to its decrease throughout Japan. This is one of the backgrounds of the operators purchasing clams from outside to address needs of people visiting for recreational clamming by the 1960’s at the latest, iii) Long-term effort of protecting and recovering resources of clams as well as transferring of clamming parks from natural tidal flats to artificial or adjacent beaches with poorer habitat had become foundation of their unique system of exchanging clams collected by clam-diggers at the parks for non-toxic ones purchased from outside. Future study needs to clarify attitudes about shellfish toxin and food safety measures taken at clamming parks by interviewing the operators, Osaka Prefectural Government, and clam-diggers.
